I found this amazing lecture while researching the issue of the church and pop culture for my college small group.

  1. hm, this is interesting. One of the main things that stood out to me is the idea that “protecting” children from evil (and, I would add, from sadness) by avoiding it in story and diluting it in life is dangerously dis-empowering.
